Regional's 2009:
The big question: Do we want to host the 2009 Regional's or wait until our turn
in 2010?
Discussion followed, Tim K. stated that he spoke to the Cherokee Casio (near
Catoosa) and that they will allow us to use the top floor of their new parking
garage for the car show and that if the weather turns bad, we can move the car
show down one level so that the cars are protected. He was quoted hotel rates
of $59.00 a night on Weekends And $39.00 a night on Thursday and Sunday.
There will be no charge to have the show there, but we will be changed for any
labor that the Cherokee Casio provides, i.e. Security.
A question was raised if we do the show in 2009, would we be responsible for
the show in 2010 as well ? The answer is No, this would be our turn. Odis
made a suggestion that we need a committee of at least 4 people. Wil P. agreed
that we need a committee and added that there will need to be one main person
to fore-front the committee, and that person will need to be able to dedicate
"a lot" of time for this position.

leader of the pack.
