Wil P. reported that he received a payment check from the Leake Auction For all of the club members hard work that volunteered to work the auction For the amount of $578.50. The manager sent a Thank You Note for all of the Clubs hard work, workers are as follows

Wil P. stated there were 770 cars consigned, which was a record. Dennis G. reported
on the Springfield Regional's. Stated said it rained on Saturday, everyone did
a good job of keeping everything Moving along, and that 3 vehicles were judged
for points.
Wil P. stated that he printed out a last months newsletter and had copies if anyone was interested.
Dennis G. opened a discussion about next years Regional's.
Wichita Passed On doing the Regional's next year and we needed to discuss as
a club if we are Going to take it on or not. During the discussion, points were
made that it takes an entire year to plan a Regional's Car Show. Wil P. stated
that he had a rough Draft of what it takes to pull off a Regional's show, events
and money. Tim K. stated that we REALLY need more club participation in this
discussion and that it needed to be put in the newsletter that next months meeting
(August Meeting) that as many club members need to attend as possible so that
This can be discussed and decided as a group.

Dennis G. reminded everyone of the Annual Picnic; September 28th Haikey Creek
Park, Shelter #4, from 1:00-4:00 PM.
Dennis G. announced that new officer nominations
were coming up. AGAIN, club attendance is a MUST for the August Meeting.
Officers are nominated in August, Voted on in September, and take Office in
October.
Dennis G. reminded everyone of the Sonic Cruise Night on July 25th.
New Member Mike Sirkel was introduced again, he gave an impressive list of cars he owns.
Dennis G. reminded everyone that the Dinner Cruise is the Hamett House is Claremore America. Meet at the QT at 193rd and I-44 across from Cherokee Casino. Meet at 430 - pullout at 4:45 PM.
Harold Gordon leapt out of the cheap seats and announced that Coweta Special Olympics is having a Poker Run to raise money and awareness.
Wil P. announced that he received a call from St. Jude's in Memphis TN. To see if the club would be interested in doing a Car Show for St Jude's in Tulsa.
Mike Sirkel announced that Saturday the 19th of July Porter Peach Festival is Having a car show. $15 entry fee, 800-1030 registration, awards are at 2PM See newsletter for details.
Dennis G. announced that on August 17th at the Roller Derby, at the Broken Arrow roller rink, there will be a car show from 4-6 PM.
Dan Gillian reminded everyone Saturday Nights from 700pm-1200am is a cruise-in At 46th and memorial at Quiznoes.
50/50 Pot Winner is Wil P. He graciously donated all $3.50 back to the car club. (Last of the big spenders)
